Background: Psychological archetypes are according to Carl Jung universal, archaic patterns and images that derived from the collective unconscious psychic counterpart of an instinct. Besides fundamental Jungian (persona, shadow, anima, animus, great mother, wise old man, hero, self self-realization), there may be plenty other psychological archetypes, existence which can deduced indirectly through stories, art, myths, religions or dreams. Purpose: This review article is discuss myths Medusa, Hades Persephone, as well present in art stories. Methods: Several famous deducted culture, presented this discussed medical, philosophical perspective. Results: Interpretation here works posttraumatic embitterment disorder (Medusa), arranged marriage (Hades Persephone), duality human nature (Jekyll Hyde), shared psychosis (Harley Quinn Joker), fear, phobias, child abuse childhood traumas (It), instinctive fear clinical psychic/emotional vampirism (vampires), mystery time (Langoliers). Conclusion: represent powerful source artistic scientific inspiration originating unconscious. Research, discovery understanding value these reveal universal thoughts, fears, desires, tendencies, problems being throughout history humankind. Investigation significantly improve our knowledge psychology.
